Institutional Supply & Demand is a custom-built TradingView indicator developed by the team at IGD Investors Guild to help traders visually identify key liquidity zones where price reactions are most likely to occur
Unlike traditional S&D indicators, this script uses a unique zone-color logic designed for intuitive market structure reading
Core Features:
🟢 Supply Zones (Above Price)
Supply zones are marked green. These zones typically exist above current price, where selling pressure from institutions previously entered the market.
When price revisits these areas, it may encounter selling interest again, often leading to slowdowns, rejections, or potential reversals.
🔴 Demand Zones (Below Price)
Demand zones are marked red. These zones generally form below current price, where strong buying pressure previously pushed price upward.
When price returns to these levels, buyers may step in again, creating potential reactions or continuation moves
This reversed color logic helps traders quickly understand where price currently sits relative to the zones, improving visual clarity during fast market conditions
⏱ Multi-Timeframe Detection:
The script automatically scans and maps zones from multiple timeframes simultaneously
Default timeframes:
- 3m • 5m • 15m • 30m • 1H
Traders can fully customize these timeframes depending on their strategy or trading style. This allows the indicator to highlight both short-term and higher-timeframe zones in a single view
Built for Top-Down Analysis:
The script is designed to support top-down market analysis
Typical workflow:
1. Identify higher-timeframe zones (HTF)
2. Wait for price interaction
3. Use lower-timeframe zones (LTF) to refine entries
When price reacts from a higher timeframe zone, it often seeks the nearest lower timeframe liquidity level. The price movement between these zones creates opportunities for scalping, sniping, or swing trading depending on the trader’s approach.
